Birthday Party Decorating ideas?

We are having a 55th surprise birthday party for my dad. Theme is going to be "Puff The Magic Dragon". I have found the stuffed animal, the movie, and the song on ebay but I'm having a hard time finding decorations. Any ideas?

For food we are having....Chicken, Mosticolli, Potatoe Salad, Macaroni Salad, Coleslaw, Drinks, Cake, and whatever we can think of.

Puff the Magic Dragon was my Dad's favorite thing growing up and we want to do something special for him.

Peter, Paul and Mary have a CD called "Peter, Paul & Mommy" that also has the song on it (and it's a GREAT album for toddlers/preschoolers too) .....     Get some of that cotton candy that's in the bags, and put "puffs" of it in a big bowl.  You can mix the colors in the bowl....   Fill 1/2 watermelon with melons cut into balls (those are kind-of like "puffs":) ...   You could fill tall clear vases (different sizes) with cotton puffs, and if you're lucky, you might even find some colored ones:), or just put some colored glitter or confetti in with them...
