  1. If this is girls only you could build a theme around a just girls event.  Spa day would be nice if you have a nice resort where you live - would give you access to the pool for the afternoon.  Then you could have a sleep over and maybe you all could make dinner. . . .something fancy.

Manicures followed by dinner at a very nice restaurant.

Movie party at your house.  Make homemade pizza's, make a cake. . .stuff like that.

  2. Don't go to the cinema - do a movie night at your house.  Have a few OLD movies to pick from based on the general attitude of the group.  Watch the movie and make comments on what's going on or make up your own dialogue.  Have you ever watched Mystery Movie 3000?  It has silhouettes of three aliens watching an old black and white cheesy sci-fi movie and making funny remarks about it.

Have intermission where you fix popcorn or snacks.

  3. You can go out to dinner at a nice restuarant, somewhere that you don't normally go, but like or haven't been, but would like to go.  Somewhere really nice.

Dinner cruise with you and your friends.

    What about seeing a show?

    Amusement park or waterpark

You can do a bbq and take advantage of the nice weather.  Have hamburgers and hot dogs with toppings and whatever other foods YOU like and enjoy!

You can also set up an ice cream bar.  Get chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry ice cream and whatever you like and some toppings. Sprinkles, chocolate syrup, whipped cream, and cherrie, and have everyone make their own sundaes.  You can go to the dollar store and get those tall plastic sundae glasses or the waffle cone bowls at the grocery store.

You can set up a badmitten and volleyball net and play those games.

You can set up some lounge chairs and hang out in the yard and enjoy your day.

If it's going to go into the evening hours, hang up some of the clear, stringed Christmas lights or the stringed lanterns to keep with the party mood.

If you have a Dave and Buster's nearby, you can go there for the afternoon and have lunch or dinner there.

I hope some of these ideas help and that you have a great party and a very Happy Birthday!
