Birthday Party Ideas working with an 80's Theme?

Question

I'm hosting an "80's theme" birthday party for a soon to be 19 year old young woman and all her friends ages 18 to 23. The only thing she's really specific on is listening to 80's music..very helpful...*lol* Anyone have any ideas??? Anything would be appreciated :)

The 80's were all about excess, so make your decorations dramatic and colorful. Look for paper cups and plates in neon colors, animal prints or black-and-white geometric patterns. Plaster the walls with posters of quintessential 80's pop stars like Culture Club, Thompson Twins, Cyndi Lauper, New Kids on the Block and the queen of the decade, Madonna. To really get in the spirit, pop in a DVD of a John Hughes movie or an 80's band's video collection and have it playing, on mute, during the event

80's Wine Cooler (serves 4)

• 16 oz. Chablis® white wine

• 24 oz. 7-Up® soda

• 2 oz. grapefruit juice

• 2 oz. pineapple juice

• 2 oz. lime juice

• 2 oz. lemon juice
