Birthday Present for a 12 year-old?

Please give me some suggestions for a perfect birthday present for my 12-year-old cousin, a boy by the way. He will be turning 12 soon and I'm stuck. Don't know what should I give to a boy this age. Please help me out, I'd be very appreciated!

Well, you cannot go wrong with money.  But if he's interested in Sportss.... buy him a football? a soccer ball? Make him a nice card and maybe, if you like something like golf, give him golf lessons.  Or get him private lessons for something he likes.

Computer games, Anything computer related. They like gadgets at that age. If your stuck you can just ask the mother. The kid will hate you though cos mothers will probibly filll a need rather than a want eg socks

It depends how much you want to spend. I would buy a 12 year old a giftcard to his favorite store, or maybe if he has an ipod, you could buy him an itunes giftcard. Those make great presents. Hope I could help!

Go to Amazon.com (they're connected to Toys-R-Us and more) and I believe that you can type in their age in a Find A Gift section and get a list of suggested toys and such!

Ask him? he will definately know what he wants :-) if not have a think of things he already has that you can add to i.e if he has a games console you could get him a game. An iPod shuffle is a great gift for a kid this age.  If he already has one, how about an iTunes card?

If you are from England, buy him a 20Q thingy from any good toy shop. My grandad has one and they are so cool. They can read your mind. Good for all ages. Only £5 from some places.
