hey! I'm having a birthday party for my friend and of course all birthdays involve a cake! do you have any cool ideas for a birthday cake? colors, designs, anything :)

My daughter just had a birthday party she turned 27 - she went to the bakery in the market and had several large cookies made (about $6 ea) we had silly things written on them, one had her favorite song, Happy me day!!!, Princess: it is a hard job...and it's mine. Stuff like that. Then she had them make cupcakes with the matching theme colors.

She had a pool party with beach ball colors; blue, yellow, red, white. We had a beach ball pinata (yes her guests broke it), the salad were in plastic pails w/shovels, we covered the table with stripped beach towels.
