Birthday cake or simple party ideas.?

Question

My little brother is turing 12 in two days. He wants to make a cake for his birthday today and i need some ideas on a good crative cake. Maybe some web sites that have pictures and directions to make it. We have one idea of a castle with ice cream cones and stuff but i have no idea how to make it so i need a better idea. THANKS ahead of time.

Because it is too cute and very simple to make - a woolly booger.  A woolly booger is a worm, kind of.  You make a regular bundt cake (thats the one shaped like a ring) cut it in half, and shape it like an "s" by placing 2 ends together.  You ice it and decorate it with candy or cookies and you can make it as gross (for a boy) or cute as you's like.  A couple of ideas for decorating are ground up oreo's for dirt, gumballs or spiced jellies for eyes, twizzlers, caramels, and m&m's all work good on there too.  You just have to play with it but as long as its edible, why not!

Nordicware makes some wonderful bundt pans, in different shapes.  You can get them at any good kitchen store (try Williams Sonoma) ......There's a castle pan;  a football stadium;  an egg shape (that can be decorated like a football); ......or do a simple round layer cake, frosted white, with the red stitching on top to look like a baseball.   He's 12, and you don't want anything too "babyish", and he's probably interested in sports.......
