Birthday dinner in Vegas...?

If you could choose a restaurant on the Strip to have your birthday dinner in, which one would you choose and why?

I'm going to Vegas next month for my 40th birthday -- meeting my mom and sister there. We live over 5000 miles apart, so this trip is kind of a big deal. One of the things they're planning for me is a special birthday dinner. Just want to get some suggestions as I haven't been to Vegas in 3 years!

Thanks!

  1. Everyone's gathering here for your big day.  Make it really special for everyone.  I'll bet your mom watches the cooking network (my mom sure did) and she'd be excited to eat at one of those famous chef's restaurants, and so will you and your sister, especially if you live in a town that doesn't have any celebrity chefs.  So here's a couple of great ideas:

    1. Emeril Lagasse's New Orleans Fish House in the MGM

    2. Emeril Lagasse's Delmonico Steakhouse in the Venetian

    3. Wolfgang Puck's Spago in Caesar's Forum Shops

    4. Wolfgang Puck's Postrio by the Canal shops in the Venetian

    5. Mario Batali's Carnevino at the Palazzo

    6. Table 10 also at the Palazzo - this is another Emeril Lagasse restaurant.

Just a few ideas and there's many many more that are owned and operated by these and other celebrity chefs.

    Happy birthday and good eating!!

  2. We found that Eiffel at Paris to be one of the best all round experiences we have had excellent food and service but it was the whole experience that made it special the staff the decor the view cant wait to go again

  3. I would recommend Picasso at Bellagio which has great views of the fountains outside.
