Last minute birthday invitation.....

We are going to a birthday party for a little girl that turned 5 yesterday. I don't know her very well. She is hearing impared and has some vision issues... and just A DOLL!!!

But I don't know what to get her for a gift. I feel a gift certificate is not personal enough. I don't want to buy her something that she can't hear or see very well... and I'm at a loss.

Any ideas would be great!!!! Thanks for your time!

  1. Does she like dolls? I got a three year old girl a giant Raggedy Ann from toys'r'us and she's nearly six and still loves it. Otherwise something fun to touch... play dough is always fun, an easy bake oven, blocks or legos... just go in to a toy store and see what there is!

Oh, also princess dress up... costumes, fairy wings... those are always fun.

  2. I would try playdoh or moonsand. They also have they playdoh tables for around 25.00 or what about blocks in different shapes so that she can feel them and help to learn her shapes.

  3. the dress up clothes are always a hit specially in that age group. even with those fake high heel shoes. try toys r us or target i know they have all of those fun princess and fairy things.

  4. So what does her hearing and her vision have to do with what she likes?  ASK her parents what she likes.  It's not rocket science.

  5. anything that is touch orientated with different textures would prob work. Good luck

  6. I have a freind that has a child with the same issues, the Doctors said to buy things in black in white and books that have things that she can feel - you can find alot of books like that at toys r us or baby's r us...
