  1. I like to give gift cards to the local toy stores.  The kids can go get what they want with it.  There are way too many Barbie's out there, and depending on the boys ages, sommething can go from cool to stupid in a matter of weeks.

  2. Barbies are almost always a hit with girls. If they have a lot of the dolls already, give them something to go with them. I gave a remote-control VW for Barbie to some girls one year and it was the hit of Christmas!

I just gave a 4 year old boy a Spiderman action figure last week, and it was the first present he wanted to play with out of everything he got! Spidey is hot right now with all of the recent movies.

    Good luck!

  3. Right now in my house I have a 5, 6, and 7 year old playing a game called "hyper dash."  They've been playing it for an hour and they love it.  Basically, you follow the commands and run around the room tagging different targets.  You try to get the fastest time.  You can set the game for easy (where you tag targets by the color) all the way up to level 5 (where you must do additional and subtraction problems to know which target to tag).  It can be played inside or outside...in a group or alone.  I bought 6 of these so I have them handy for birthday parties.  It's pretty new, so most kids don't have it yet.  Parents love it because it's educational and fun.  Check it out on amazon (see below)

  4. Boys like play guns and girls like barbies

  5. For a boy... I would say Cars or Dinosaurs...

For a girl I would say... Littlest Pet Shop, Barbie or the new Littlest Ponys.

  6. What are the kids interested in?

  7. I have a five year old boy he likes any toy that has to do with spiderman.

  8. Check out www.MicroDwarf.com. I sent them pictures of myself and my son and they made a customized figurines made to look like us! Good luck!

  9. Hi, how about personalized books? Kids love to hear/read their own name in the storyline. Go to this website http://www.tlc-expressions.com They have lots of titles like Sesame Street, Spider-Man, Batman, Looney Tunes, s****.-Doo, Littler Mermaid, Ballerina Princess, Noah's Ark, Sports titles and so many more. Check it out - they're very reasonably priced, and make a wonderful, unique & special gift... It's something they can enjoy now and keep forever!! Good Luck!

  10. Get them an educational computer game. It will say on the front of the game what age they are for.
