Birthday gift ideas for a 5 year old?

my son is turning 5 in a few months, and i'd like to get him something really nice for his birthday. any ideas?

he is really into spiderman and all those super heros

  2. my little brother is five and he's the exact same way! maybe get him a couple of action figures he likes, or hotweels cars, my brother is totally into those. Or maybe perhaps tonka trucks.

  3. I was also a super hero fan as a kid and I'd suggest getting him a super hero play set. I recommend  the

    "SpiderMan Superhero Squad Bank Heist Battleground Playset". I also think he might like a  GREEN MACHINE,

    It's kind of like a big wheel  bicycle and is really neat.

    -get him the spiderman web blaster

    -the hulk muscle arm w/ sound affects

    -superman muscle suit!

My daughter is turning 7 and is a tomboy - she likes superheros, and all kinds of sports.  For her birthday this year, we are taking her to see Tony Hawk (the famous skateboarder).  You could check your area to see if his tour is coming closeby -- tickets were reasonable.  Another idea -- musical instruments - like a guitar, drums, microphone, etc..  What he plays won't sound like music -- but he will have great fun with it.  If you want to stick with superheros -- then try costumes.  There is a new Batman costume out that has wings that pop out.  You could get a few different costumes for him.

  6. By him a water gun for summer. I think they make them with the spider man logo on it, but I'm not sure.

  14. BIG WHEEL

    These were the coolest thing ever when I was a kid. Its hard to ride a bike at this age, and even if they can a big wheel is still awesome.

    Unfortunately by the time I thought of it my son was 7 and was not too interested. But I have a 1 year old now also and I can't wait to get him one.
