We are planning an outdoor party for my son this weekend. If it's nice, we have not problems. A BBQ, the kiddie pool, the sandbox, outdoor toys and lots of room to play. I'm just worried that if it rains (which is quite possible, it'll be raining either Friday or Saturday here) , I'll have 10 kids between the ages of 1 and 5 in my house (along with 12 adults) and nothing but the BBQ to keep us happy. We do have a pinata for the kids to take a whack at. Any ideas for this many kids and limited space?

  1. due the little version of tape the tail on the donkey

    duck duck goose

    london bridge

red rover red rover thing we used to play

    bean bag toss

    then the pinata

then you can just let them all go to the play room and play as they will be happy cause it is a new place to play

  2. If it rains, hang the pinata from the middle of  a broom stick and have two brave parents hold it up.  Play the balloon pop game.  Blow up a bunch of balloons, put a small piece of paper in each one.  Draw a star on just one.  The kids have to sit on  a balloon until it pops and the one with the star wins.

  3. I had the same predicament with my 4 year old son's B-day party. We moved everything in from the rain and had the kids sit in a circle. I filled a shoe box (that I wrapped with wrapping paper to look festive) and I played music. When the music stops the kid who has the box gets to open the lid and pick out a prize :) Sort of like a "fair" version of musical chairs, definitely age appropriate. Good Luck!!

  4. get so movies your son likes because most likely all the other kids will like it too. also have a bunch of toys if you can.

sorry if I'm not much help I'm better at little girl party's
