I'm having a birthday party at my house.

I'm 13.

What are fun things we can do?

Some fun things to do are having a murder mystery party, make your own pizzas, or hang out and play board games. Whatever you do have fun, take lots of pics, and have fun with your friends:)

Well a hawaiin luau theme is always fun.  its great to have in the backyard. Google the idea if that sounds good.  youll get TONS of information.

maybe bake cookies??  one time me and my friends did that but we didnt follow the recipie.  They turned out HORRIBLE tasting but we had so much fun making them!

if you can get enough transportation you could go to someplace that has a pool and gym.  its usually only about $10 per person.

sleepovers are always fun.  the only thing you need is junk food, movies, and music. those are probably some of my favorite parties. some people like to do makeup and nails and stuff like that at them too, but thats just for some people.

if its warm enough you could camp out in the yard.  one of my friends did that and it was sooo much fun.  we got like 3 tents, built a campfire, and set up a cheap volleyball net.  it was definitely original.

if youve got a nice neighborhood, you could do a neighborhood scavenger hunt.  the thing where you go up to houses and ask for one object. like a paper clip, or a piece of paper towel. youre broken up into groups and whichever group gets all the items on the list first wins.  but u might want to have a parent walking nearby for safety issues.

Clothes swap! Have all your girls bring their old clothes, shoes, accessories, books, etc. that no longer fit their bodies or their style (or that they are sick of looking at) to trade in for something new to them. Not only is this a great way to clean out a closet and recycle, but it doesn't cost a dime and everyone walks away with great new goodies. Have fun!

There's a lot you can do!

I'm not sure if you're doing all girls, or boys and girls, or inside and out, but here's some ideas for all of it!

You can do a spa party if it's an indoor party with all girls.  Ask an older sister, cousin, mom, or aunt if they can do it for you, and if not, pair up and do each other's hair, make-up, manicure's and pedicures.  Tell your friends to bring their favorite nail polish and bring flip flops so their pedicures don't get ruined!  You can then have any kind of food you want, chips, snacks, pizza, etc, and have a sleepover!

With any party you have, you can set up an ice cream bar.  Get chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry ice cream and some toppings.  Sprinkles, chocolate syrup, whipped cream, and cherries, and have everyone make their own sundaes.  You can go to the dollar store and get those tall plastic sundae glasses.

If you're having an outdoor party, you can do a bbq and have hamburgers and hot dogs, or a taco bar with all the toppings.  For the hamburgers you can have lettuce and tomatoes and for the hot dogs have suarkraut, etc.

You can also do plenty of games in your backyard. Have some relay races.  Potato sack races, three legged races, wheel barrel races, where one person stands and holds the other person's ankles and you race to the finish line. You can also do a pie eating contest, but instead of pie, you can do whipped cream in the pie tin and whoever finishes first wins!  You can also do water balloon fights and a slip and slide.

You can do a Hollywood theme movie party. Go to the dollar store and get some boas and sunglasses and then there or Blockbuster get some cardboard popcorn buckets and big boxes of movie candy.  Then get a some red fabric and put it at the entrance of your house so when your friends get there, they're entering on the red carpet.  You can also put some solar lights on both sides so it's lit up.   You can also get a piece of black foamboard or a piece of plywood and paint it black and in silver paint put your name and birthday and put some string clear, Christmas lights around it, your name will be in lights like a movie marquee!  Then, hang a white sheet somewhere in the house for you and your friends to pose and take pictures in front of, use the boas and other props, pose and have fun!  At movie time, everyone gets their own popcorn bucket and pass around the candy.  

After the movie, is the "after" party, where you and your friends can eat, have the ice cream bar, cake, etc.  You can also go to the craft store and get some of the blank frames and get some paint and things and decorate it so your friends can take it home after the party and put their favorite picture from the party in it.  

You can also do a sit down dinner party with your friends.  Talk to your mom and either send out for food, or with your mom, cook the dinner from appetizers to dessert and set the table in a formal way with cloth tablecloths to cloth napkins.  Have a real dinner party with your friends.
