Well, are you having just girls over or a mixed party? This is important. Another question is where do you live (warm weather or cold)? That makes a difference between a party that needs to be indoors or a bon-fire and cook-out type party.

Well, if it's a party with a bunch of friends, then you should get a lot of finger foods. Pizza, chips/dip, buffalo wings, pretzels. If it's a smaller get together of you and some close friends, then maybe you could do a make-your-own taco bar and sundae bar for dessert. Or, you could make a lasagna. Both are easy and fun to eat.
