If he has x-box live, you could get him some microsoft points, you can get cards at any retailer that sells x-box. Or extend his subscription to x-box live.

Or just ask him what he wants, he's 24, it doesn't need to be a surprise

anymore.

Well depending on what games he has, I will suggest some great games that I have played

Gears of War

Call of Duty 4

Halo 3 (which he probably already has)

Bioshock

Rainbow Six Vegas 2

You can also buy him a 12 month xbox gold membership, or Microsoft points card.

But if you are not sure what to get him, I would suggest getting a gift card to Gamestop or whatever electronic place he goes to.

Gift card for GameStop/EB Games/Electronics Boutique.  Maybe not enough for a new game, but a good start on one.

Gift card for Walmart/Target/Meijer that he can use on games.

Halo action figures.  Walmart carries them in toy department, but they're usually sold out.  Easier to find online.

Bring the folks at the local bakery a picture of your brother's XBox controller.  See if they can make a cup-cake cake in the shape of the controller.
