  1. Earrings, bracelet, necklace

Subscription to her favorite magazines or newspaper

    Books

Cds of her favorite singer/band, Cd set.

Dvds of her favorite tv show/movie.  Dvd set

    Fountain for her yard/home/or office

    Bench for her yard

    Statue for her yard

    Solar lights for her yard

    Something for her house.

    Perfume

    Shower gels, lotions, etc.

    Clothing

    Dinner cruise

    Family portrait

    Spa gift card, etc.

Does she have a hobby?  If so, get her something for that hobby or a gift card to the store she shops in for that hobby.

Does she collect anything?  Get her something to add to her collection.

Take her out!  Spending time with you is going to mean SO much more to her than anything you buy her.  Take her out for lunch, dinner, the movies, go get manicures and then out to lunch, anything!  That's going to mean SO much more to her!

You can also go and get one of those collage frames, they are the ones that are big and have many openings to put different pictures in.  Some have openings all one size and some openings are all different sizes.  You can get them at Kohl's, Walmart, Michael's, Linen's and Things, just about any store in the framing dept.  Get one of them and put pictures of you and your mom in there from over the years, leaving 2 spaces blank.  One to write Happy Birthday and the date, and one to take a picture of you and her on her actual Birthday.  You can even do pictures of her and her family if you'd rather do that.  She would LOVE this, it's like a scrapbook for her wall!  She can hang it where she wants and look at it whenever she wants.

You can take her on a dinner cruise or out to dinner to her favorite restaurant.

If she likes wine get her a bottle of her favorite wine and a wine refigerator.  If she likes wine, you can also take her or send her on a wine tasting and then to dinner afterwards at the vineyard's restaurant.  Most of them have them right on site, you can call ahead and get her gift card when you send her for the wine tasting, if there's one in your area.

If she commutes to work, get her a gas card.  Also they have mugs if she takes coffee or tea with her in the morning, you plug them into the cigarette lighter and it keeps the drink warm while driving.  You can usually find it at Brookstone, and maybe Linen's and Things and Bed, Bath and Beyond may have it.  You can check their websites before going to the store to see if they have it.

If she likes coffee, Keurig has made a coffee maker that makes one cup of coffee, tea, or cocoa, in less than a minute with the use of pods and the pods are made by the most famous coffee makers!  You put the water in, the pod in, put your cup there, press the button and viola! You have your drink! You can also for under $20 buy a filter that you don't have to use the pods and can use regular coffee that you purchase in the supermarket.  You can buy the machine and the pods at Kohl's, Linen's and Things, and Bed, Bath, and Beyond.  It's awesome!

You can get her car washed, waxed, and detailed.

You can make her a basket of her favorite things.  You can put it together with her favorite perfumes, shower gels, lotions, candy, snacks, etc.  Put things in there that you know she likes and uses and know she loves.

Is there somewhere she's been wanting to go?  Take her on a day trip, make it your trip, she'll love spending time with you and get to go to the place she's been wanting to go.

If you have enough time, and she doesn't have one, you can get her a mother's ring.  They're the ones with the birthstone's of her children and husband if you choose to include him or not.  I'm sure that would mean a lot to her. There are other mother's jewelry that you can buy that you can just walk into jewelry stores and buy these days that you don't have to order, you can get her something like that.

If she likes to cook, you can get her something like new cookware, new gadgets, new cookbooks, etc.

If she likes to garden, get her something for her garden.

Think about what she does in her spare time, what does she do with it, where does she go?  That should help you figure out what you can get her.  What does she like in perfumes, make-up, lotions and shower gels if she even likes those things.  What makes her happy?

I hope some of these ideas help and that your mom has a very Happy Birthday!!
