  1. I learned from my niece who is 4 that anything Dora the explorer is amazing...

  2. What about pots and pans, iron, baby cradle, she can make her room into a kid version of a house.  They make everything that adults have for kids.  Buy her a Dirt Devil stick vac.  It's not too loud and if she likes pushing it around being a grown up, she'll be helping you too.  My son loves to push the vac around.  You could also look into a Leapster LMAXX the games are educational and it is portable.

  3. I would ask where she got that idea from... that turning 4 she's an adult.  I would correct that before anything.  Imagine what she'll think when she turns 10.

As for the gift... I give my kids the circulars from the toy store and ask them what they would like for their birthday.  I have them circle all the things.  They end up telling me what they like, what their friends would like, what I would like, etc... it's a fun thing for them.  You can even make a craft out of it by having them cut and paste the pictures on paper - a wish list of sorts.  You can even take them to the toy store for a live wish list.  This also helps you when others ask you what your child would like for a gift.

    My kids are 2 1/2 and 4 1/2

  4. buy her a bike...

  5. That is cute.

I would get her more things that adult-like then.

Maybe clothes with nothing like "Hannah Montana" on them. But plain clothes.

    Maybe get her a swingset

    or a cooking set...

get her an apron and tell her she can start helping you cook.

    A new bed.

  6. I got my son a scrapbook kids set, and kids camera.

he loves it - he does art/take photos/ and makes a beautiful scrapbook. I would get her into a hobbie like that - or making nice braclets and neckolaces. Go to a bead store or a craft strore with alot of fancy cute beads...

  7. Anything disney.. dolls, dressses, hannah montana might be a little old, babrbies...

  8. Most 4 year olds i know love dora.

  9. a Glock.

  10. Hannah Montana dolls!!!

  11. toy instruments

  12. forget the toys.  treat her to a special day with mom & put a hefty donation into her college account.

  13. educational toys are always best, books , puzzles of the favorite characters, flashcards of letters, etc

  14. When I was 4 I didn't get gifts but if I did I would've liked to choose rather than have my parents choose. (I was stubborn baby) so take her to Toys R' Us and let her choose for herself make it clear how many things she's allowed to get and so she'll be faced with a challenge thats quite fun. Be sure to treat her with a lot of love so she won't point to everything in the store. If I were you I'd also get her something else she had wanted and wrap that up unbeknownst to her as a sort of reward for being an "adult" that can limit their longings and make choices.

  15. a cool barbie/pony coloring book

  16. Wow she is a big girl now excuse me! LOL!

You can never go wrong with a bike, skates, Hannah Montana toys, High School Musical toys,Cheetah Girls, an Art set she can color and paint (something like that), a leapster ( a kid friendly educational video games. It's great), Kid frinedly toy laptop.
