what can i get my partner for his 30th bday, its in a months time and i dont want you to tell me s*x, i need some ideas where to take him or what to do. in london, uk

Why not take him to the London Eye and give him a couple of bottles of beer to refresh him whilst seeing the London Landscape.  After that, go to Westminster Pier and join a River Boat for a romantic dinner whilst sailing to the Thames Barrier and back (round trip around 2 1/2 to 3 hours).

As an alternative, get him a couple of tickets for his football club and let him go with a mate.  You'll hate this present but he'll love you for it ;-)  As a secret bonus, you can go shopping with the girls without his knowledge and he will love you more when he realised that you had stayed home all afternoon so he could be with his mates.  He'll believe you are the most unselfish woman on earth (if there is such a thing LOL).

Take him to get a couples massage at a spa...it may be a little out of his comfort zone (if he is like most guys) but when you get there it is so nice and relaxing and is a fun and different thing to do together.

The Landmark hotel in London on Marylebone Road is amazing. Its a five star and a bit pricey but it has pretty much everything in a hotel. Its stylish, modern and has fantastic suites and restaurants serving different foods.

It would be a nice break for you and your partner but regardless of where you go and what you decide to do, i hope you both have a good time.
