Birthdy party ideas for a 8 year old girl?

my daughters 8th birthday party is comming up i need ideas for a fun birthday party at home like food and games ect...please help i need all the help i can get thanks

Make a theme around things she likes... maybe Hannah Montana, Bratz, or even Barbie, if she's still around.   Find your local party store, they should be able to guide you in the right direction.

My son had a pinata for his 7th birthday. He really loved it. You just fill it up with lollies and toys and hang it from a tree. The kids are blind folded and have turns trying to hit it until it busts open and the lollies spill everywhere.

I'm not sure how parents would feel about this one, it is a little "commercial."

But Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana seems to be rather big.  Perhaps renting a karoake (not sure how to spell that) machine and maybe some costumes; things like wigs and maybe some shiny shirts and/or pants.  

If you can find something that might look like a stage, also.  I'm sure there are a few party planners that could find you what you need for this.  But again it does kind of play into commercialization and I don't honestly know how much it costs.  These might factor into it enough to make this not such a good idea.
