Birthing Pool can I have gas & air?

Just writing my birth plan - I live in UK and plan to give birth in Birthing Pool - can I have gas and air too while in the pool?

You can have gas & air and other pain relief drugs in a birthing pool but you would have to get out of the pool if you wanted an epidural.

not 100% on that one I would guess air yes but not sure about gas since your in water.

yes you can atleast in aberdeen. you can even have gas and air if you're having a home birth so i dont think there will be any problems

Yes you can have gas and air while in the birthing pool good luck with the birth.

Yes you can. Your never left alone in a birthing pool so you dont have to worry about getting loopy and drowning!! There will always be your partner or a midwife with you.
