Former Indian great, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Bishan-Singh-Bedi-c48133, who is known for his outspoken views surprised everyone when he said that rising Indian left-arm off-spinner Pragyan Ojha has a suspect action.
Bedi made these comments while talking on the future of spin bowling in an award ceremony at the Cricket Association of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Bengal-c771 (ACB).
"I'm not a great fan of Ojha...that's because of his suspect action. That's how bluntly I can put it," Bedi remarked.

favour the batsmen.
"Nowadays what is happening is that the spinners are bowling faster and the pacers are slowing down...I think that there is a huge dearth of spinners in the world," the former India coach said.
The former great further added that the art of spin bowling is further diminished due to the introduction different variations, which is mainly due to the batting friendly pitches. He also blamed league cricket as a reason for the decline of bowling standards
in modern cricket.
"I know that cricket is primarily a batsman's game, but it is the bowlers who win you matches. So you need to prepare wickets which help both the batsman and the bowler," he said.
