Bit View Royal all set for the Betfred Steel City Cup Trial Stakes – Dup
The Betfred Steel City Cup Trial Stakes – Dup has all the chances of witnessing the two-year-old, Bit View Royal to bounce back into form after ending a miserable fourth in the most recent outing. The 500 metres flat race at Sheffield on Tuesday, 24th
July, 2012 has attracted five other credible entries for the race which will offer the winner a prize money of £200.
Raising the bar of competition for the black and white dog are Droopys Cinders, Taylors Cruise, Ballybrook, Drumsna Hero and Trickys On Fire.
The E. Parker trained started racing just during this season and through that short span the two-year-old has been successful in bagging hat-trick twice. He started off by winning a 500 metres race at Sheffield on 29th February, 2012. Leading
from the first and then the fourth spot got him the race in 29.79 seconds while he won by the margin of 6 ¾ lengths.
Monopolising the next two starts got him the first ever hat-trick of the career and that too through the first three outings of the career.
Droopys Vieri’s son then won the Grade A2 500 metres flat race on 14th April, 2012 at Sheffield by leading from the fourth location and making it to the other end of the wire in 29.62 seconds. Bit View Royal won by the margin of ¾ of a length.
Finishing the closest to the winner was, Russanda Grant, who timed the track distance in 29.68 seconds.
The third leg of the second hat-trick for the two-year-old son out of b***h, Moyar Queen, was in the Night Continues At Napoleons Casino on 25th May, 2012 at Sheffield over 500 metres.
Leading three quarters made him reach the other end of the wire in 20.19 seconds while he defeated the runner-up, Dacent Joker, by 2 ¼ lengths.
The last time that the two-year-old was successful was in the William Hill A16 The Seasider’s on 10th July, 2012 at Sheffield over 500 metres. After breaking from the first gate, Bit View Royal did not compromise on the lead and rested the race
in 28.91 seconds as the evening’s favourite.
A little refresher on speed and tactic will get him the race tonight.
