  1. Kilkenny for the two in a row I would say-neutral point of view

  2. I'm from Waterford myself and i think it will be our year next year. It would make me proud to silence those REBELS and tame those CATS!!!!!!!!

  3. Well I was born in Dungarvan so what can I say only Waterford. I must say they have tested my patience many times in the past forty years.

For others looking in "Déise" is the part of County Waterford between the Drum Hills and the Comeraghs (more or less) "The Déises" is usually used  fo "Waterford" eswpecially when you mention hurling. Historically all the best hurlers came from Déise within Drum while the footballers came from Killrossanty, Kilmac Bonmahon and east of the county generally

  4. Every year my heart screams WEXFORD!!!!!

But alas, I'd have to say Cork!

Its harder to get OFF the Wexford team than to get on it!!

  5. Just a bit off topic - I apolgise! Stuck in the US as I am, Irish hurling is virtually impossible to follow. I love what I've been able to see of the game (a few video shorts on youtube.com) - any suggestions for me to follow Irish hurling from here? Are there Internet sites that feature games or highlights? Are there tapes available?

    thanks!
