ok someone PLEASE help me! i have no experience with bit torrents at all. someone told me to download utorrent, then winrar, then windows xp. i did all of these things & whenever it asked me to open or save, i clicked save but instead of saving to winrar {someone said it should automatically go here} it download to "my documents" now the program is 100% complete in utorrent, i have an icon on the desktop that says windows xp w/the utorrent symbol on it, and it is located in winrar screen but will not open. i think i have all the necassary programs, etc but i have no idea how to open this program and make it work. is there anything else i have to do or should winrar do it itself? it just says "cannot open file windows xp" please help! all help appreciated.

  1. in uTorrent, right click the completed file and press "extract with winrar". after thats done you should be able to open it.

  2. software-

  3. The one you saw on the desktop was the torrent file (a tracker for the source of the download)...

    Do this..

    Open Utorrent...

    Click File>New Download...

Then browse on your .torrent file... which you said was on the desktop..

    then start the download..

The download will be saved later on My Documents\Downloads
