Biting Bird issues help

I cant figure it out the last week my budgie who's usually pretty friendly and doesn't bite much. now he bites me if I get near him! wont let me pet him he just bites as hard as he can, he has tons of stimulation fresh food and water still he bites any suggestions?

  1. Sometimes you have got to leave them alone and give them their own space. He may be biting you so you will leave him alone for a while.


  2. roasted budgie simply seasoned with lemon, garlic, salt and pepper. roast at 350 for 45 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 160.

  3. He may be going through his puberty phase give him a little space and just try giving him treats without picking him up or expecting anything in return.

  4. Could it be an illness?  Is he showing any signs of distress, not eating etc?

    Maybe separate him from his roommate--if he has one----for a while?

    Is he sharing quarters with another bird?  How is the other bird acting?

    How about separating those 2 for a day and trying to re- bond with just the offending bird?
