  1. I think that the bitter truth of life is that with all our friends, family, relationships, whatever... in our darkest moments we are all ALONE.

  2. Maybe even just 2 years ago I'd have answered this differently..

But now, I'd say.. that life's many "bitter" experiences have jewels hidden in them. Every challenge, every setback, every traumatic event, every hurting incident, every disappointment has a gift for us. So I no longer see anything as really "bitter" in a deep way. It's all beautiful, sometimes very very sadly so.

  3. Bitter truth of life is that most of your expectation will end up in disappointment.

When you expect to find God. You won't.

When you expect to win the lottery. You won't.

When you expect to find true love. You won't.

When you expect to find happiness. You won't.

  4. Everyone is selfish, whether they can admit it or not is a different question.

  5. example

they'll always be someone to s***w you over......

    Everybody wants something for nothing

    Nothing is free

You born alone, you die alone.....

No matter who you are, you're still just worm food waiting to happen.....

  6. Nothing.  Life just is.  Not good, not bad, not sweet, and/or bitter.  Life is for living, learning, growing and becoming a better person.  To make the best of what you possibly can and leave it better then you found it, when you arrived.

    Peace.

  7. I think the bitter truth in life is that you (we) cannot change people in our lives that live in utter negativity.  These people are judgmental, they cannot speak without saying something mean and negative.  I personally do not like to be around people like this. It is their mission to bring other people down to their level of unhappiness.  You cannot change a tiger's stripes, and we just cannot change people. We have to learn to accept and love people with all their flaws.

    Thanks for reading!

  8. there is no truth that applies to everyone, everyone is different, everyone has there own problems even the happiest person will have problems.

  9. the life After school, I mean when you realize that you're alone and no one will help you except your-self!

  10. It's short and not always so sweet.

There are other " truths " about life that are really wonderful.  But you asked for the " bitter " truth and other than " Not all people are nice and some will even do you harm ", I think the brevity of it all is astonishing and sad.

  11. The bitter truth of life is that there is nothing to assure us that it is indeed as valuable as we would wishfully believe it to be!!

  12. The bitter truth of life is that I am starting to get convinced on the Catastrophe theory or in Murphy's law.

When one expects the best of what good may come into his life even by doing great efforts, Still doesn't really count any better, it may always seem.

That also the bitter truth in life is that we can not just get enough of anything from something. Oftenly so.

There always have been barriers toward success and happiness. No matter how fortunate one can get, maybe there will be times that you will have much grief to feel or see with other's misfortunes too. The thing that could make it more bitterly painful  truth is that at sudden times this affects mostly to the people you really care for.

  13. The bitter truth of life is that there may not be any bitter truth of life.  Mankind has constantly tried to define our existence, justify it somehow.  Not one thing has indisputably occurred that can either confirm or justify any reason to believe there is purpose to all of this.  Some like to think we are here to learn and grow.  Some to love.  Some to experience.  I fear that the truth may be that all of these ideas are created by man, and none of them are "truth".  You exist the same reason a prairie dog exists; two animals had s*x.  You eat, sleep, p**p, and have s*x.  The fact that we can think and comprehend may just be some strange oddity.

  14. It is not fair. Because life is not a game and does not have rules, there will always be people to take advantage of you.

  15. the bitter truth of life is that we will eventually die

  16. the bitter truth of life

loving someone who doesn't even know you exist...

  17. bitter truth of life is that we are to face happiness - sorrow, both

  18. Being self pitied and feeling sorry for yourself by holding on to things that are not worth it.
