Bizarre Dream including a bird with no leg,and a Renascence carnival?

So last night I remembered 2 dreams or 1(not sure)- and its weird b/c I usually don't remember my dreams.

The first dream was about a bird- it was one of those green and yellow ones....and it had a big eye.

I loved the bird for awhile,I let it fly around my house and all.

Then one day it landed on the frame of my bed. My bed http://www.pier1.com/TopMenu/Products/tabid/260/Default.aspx?task=viewproduct&id=1457&urlname=lamport-beds

and somehow its leg fell off and it fell backward into my be and died?

2 dream. I went to this carnival I've either dreamt of when I was younger, or have been to. Well all the rides and roller coasters were at the front-then the kiddie rides, and then a new addition.

Well at first I followed my older brother to an interesting ride. But it looked kind of big(Im afraid of roller coasters) but it was indoors, dark purple and the ride just went straight down. I asked my brother what it was and he said "Just hold on for oxygen" and I ran down the stairs and joined my parents. We walked near the kiddie ride section and I was like "I want to go on one of the kiddie rides" randomly, then my parents disappeared and I walked on to see a resonance carnival.I went to the back and say a giant and a 70's/80's TV star(not sure which one) and he seemed to know me. I think he was supposed to be my uncle. And he was trying to catch me? so I ran through the aisles of the renascence fair with his picture/ and his old co-stars pictures in front of my face. Then by the lake I hear someone announce something and I sat at a Chinese Lady's makeup counter(still at the renascence fair) and after the guy is done making the announcement the lady(who is wearing a lot of eyeshadow) starts talking to me. I tell her why I am there, we chat, and I ask her for some makeup/hair tips. Then my dream ends. Can someone tell me what it means?

  1. Your first dream appears to deal with a feeling of often being an observer who would like to participate more, but that you see hazards in freedom away from known places of comfort.

A 'comfort zone' is implied as you watch from the bed.  The bird is exotic and free - and the large eye is a connection between you - it is as if you are one as that bird goes about and in some way you are somehow able to see yourself in that bird a bit.  But even as it comes to alight on the bed frame - a 'safe' place - it becomes broken and falls to peril.  Once free, may one safely return?

At your age you may be wanting to venture out more - and truly find hazard in being too sheltered at times.  That can be true - it is not good for the spirit to be too protected.  But you seem to also have good sense - the greater world is not something to take on lightly - the good counsel of elders you trust is worthwhile.

The second dream is much like it - your brother seems a bit advanced on where you might like to go.  That would be natural due to his age being a bit older than yours.

What he does is intriguing to you - but you also see the hazard of unknowns in it.  And what a fascinating world below!  The reference to 'kiddie rides' that you would not really do may be a concession to your parents - and that you like to be indenpendent does not mean you don't obey or respect them - that's good.

But so many exciting sights and people - and the make up - perhaps that's been 'off limits' at your age and you would like to try it?  The exotic Chinese lady being helpful suggests that 'not all who would use it and look attractively different would be 'not nice' or abuse it' - that's rather like a message you'd like your folks to notice perhaps.

Being chased by an odd man who may have been your uncle - what is the relationship there?  Is it positive?  Or does he make you feel uneasy?  That answer could range from harmless fun to something important.

That you seldom recall dreams came back to me as I read that part - sometimes there are dark reasons for that and you do not need to be in harm's way from others.  Sometimes darker experiences are dreamt - and suppressed, or forgotten.  I hope that is not the case and it may well not be, but be careful - you are at a tender age right now for this sort of thing.

I'm not suggesting anything is really wrong - but what got my attention was the lack of remembrance of many dreams, and that you should know that if any adult, no matter how 'trusted' by family, makes you uneasy you need to discuss it with your parents or another adult whom you can trust.  That's important - never feel like you cannot do that.

I don't know what to say of that feature beyond that - and again, I do not mean 'bad' is the case - it is simply the cautious thinking of an adult who would not want you treated badly.  You decide - but never feel like you can't discuss those things with someone who could help should it ever be the case.  Sometimes such characters crop up in 'fun' settings - and seem to fit to all there, except the one who suffers.  Again - my concern is that this person could be a 'negative' who uses the screen of that fun environment to hide something not so good.  Be brave and go to your folks if that is the case.  Otherwise - if innocent - you would know the relationship - maybe he's just a funny rascal.  You have to decide.

In short, it seems you are growing rapidly into a new phase of life and are naturally excited about the things you see 'out there'.  But you are also exposed to the unfortunate and sometimes dangerous hazards the world holds.  It is good that you did not panic at your parents being separated from you, but take care that you do keep that tie close.  Explore and have fun - but stay within reach of protectiona and listen to good advice.  Try to obey it as best you can - these things are the overall 'message' of this dream - what it means then.

All the very best to you for adventure and happiness.

  2. The bird likely represents your dream of performing.  Bird often do represent dreams.  You bird was not in a cage, so that means your dreams have been free to grow, develop and fly.

The bird landed on the frame of your bed.  This indicates you feel your dreams are not as active as you'd like... resting.  The bird's leg breaks and then the bird dies.  This sounds bad, but I do not think it really is.  Remember, in the world of performing arts "break a leg" means good luck.  I believe while it seems your dreams may be on hold, you just need to wait for your "break" to come at the right time.  You think the bird is dead, but it is likely only resting (your dream is not dead, only progressing at a slower rate than you'd like).  However, death, in a dream, usually stands for the end of one thing to make room for something better.  It may be that your dream (as it is now) has to "die" to make room for bigger, better dreams to follow.

The fair represents the world around you and the life experiences you'll need to develop broadly as a well rounded person.  The dark purple ride that goes straight down is "instant success."  Purple is dramatic and breath taking (Just hold on for oxygen), which represents a big start, but it goes down hill from there.  It is not a lasting experience.  The fact that this ride is indoors also represents boundaries... limits to your experience, which will stunt your development and keep you from growing as a person and an artist.

You go back to your parents, and ask to ride kiddie rides.  This may be how you feel your life is going right now.  You'd really like to do something more exciting, though, I know.  But then your parents disappear.  Was that scary for you?

If your parents just let you go free, right into the professional world right now, they would be entrusting you and your future into the hands of professionals they do not really know and have no reason to trust.  Just like the 70/80s TV star, you recognize them as professionals in the business, but they are not your parents and you do not know that they would have your best interest at heart.  Before long, you would feel as if you were being chased by some old guy who wants to kiss you or something, and you'd wish you'd allowed your parents to be more in control of your life at this stage.

I like how you go to the Chinese Lady's make up counter.  This represents you exploring and experimenting to find your style.  Learn from everyone, but don't adopt a style of way of presenting yourself that is foreign to you.  But definitely chat with people of various artistic experience, ask them for tips, and learn from everyone you meet.

Keep what is good.  Throw out those things that are not good for you.   Stick with your parents' guidance and ask God for wisdom and protection as you move ahead in your life.

    God bless you!

    Fairelight

OKAY, about the kiddie rides... you probably feel like your parents are trying to keep you a kid, because they are offering you opportunities you don't want and you'd rather be doing something else.
