Black Arm Bands for Mourning - Left Arm or Right Arm?

Our travel select youth soccer team had a death recently in our soccer family. Has anyone had experience with this personally or are there websites we can see that tell us the proper arm to wear them on? I really, truly appreciate your help. We have a tournament coming up in 2 days and would like to know before then. Thank you!!!!

From my observations, it seems that black arm bands are almost always worn on the left arm. I had always assumed that this is because the majority of people are right-handed and it makes it easier to get them on and off. Some images at:
