Black Caviar to make her Royal Ascot debut in the Group 1 Diamond Jubilee Stakes
The Australian, Black Caviar, will be putting her undefeated record of 21 starts at stake, when she competes against 14 other runners in the Group 1 Diamond Jubilee Stakes at the Royal Ascot on 23rd June, 2012.
The Peter Moody trained runner will be taking on the six furlong track, which has been labelled good to soft.

The Ascot track, maybe a cause for concern for other trainers, but Moody is confident that his charge can handle the track without a problem.

The undefeated sprinter drew the far-outside post number 15 in the Diamond Jubilee, but even this bad draw has not shaken the confidence of her trainer, as he stated to the press that:
"I've been watching the straight races closely this week and they seem to be winning from everywhere. I don't think it really matters, she's got the tactical speed to put herself in the right spot."
The daughter of Bel Esprit, out of mare Helsinge, has been going through work-outs at Newmarket to enhance her speed and strength.  The trainer stated that the change in the environment has not affected her working routine, and he is pleased with her
form.
"She's trialled on very heavy ground and got through it OK so I'm not really worried. She's the fittest I've had her in the past 24 months. Her work has been very pleasing since arriving here. I couldn't be happier."
Black Caviar, will ride in the familiar yet capable hands of rider, Luke Nolen, who has guided her to eighteen of her twenty-one victories.
The speculation is that Moonlight Cloud, trained by Freddie Head, will be the one to give Black Caviar a serious run for her money.
The daughter of Invincible Spirit, out of mare Ventura, made a great comeback in the Group 3 Prix Du Palais-Royal at Longchamp, when she defeated T. Lemer trained, So Long Malpic, by two lengths, in her seasonal debut, which covered a distance of seven
furlongs.
Breaking out of post 5, the bay filly will be mounted by rider Thierry Jarnet, and the duo will attempt to dethrone the champion Australian mare.
