Black Ghostly Shadows??

Question

Ok so i'm pretty sure my apt is haunted. Since i moved in i've never really felt alone. I always feel like i'm being watched...I have recently found out a woman have died about 20 yrs ago in the apt from emphysema. Lately i've been seeing black shadows near my bathroom and in the hallway near the bathroom. Ive seen the shadows about 3 times within the past 6 months...each time they vary in height..the first had to be atleast 6ft tall..it walked into the bathroom..second time it stood outside the bathroom door and the disappeared. I just saw one yesterday walk into my living room. I have a curtain that seperates the living room from the hallway..as i was walking toward the curtain i saw a shorter black shadow(4ft or less) open the curtain about 4 in and then disappear! Last week i saw a white shadow walk through that same curtain going into the hallway. I've seen ghosts before(in human form) just trying to figure out what this could be.

there is a form of paranormal  phenomena called shadow people in which people see black shadows and there is also a black mist that has been seen, matter of fact on my last investigation i got a great pic of a black shadow person directly in front of me, go to our site www.hauntanalyst.com and click on case reports, then in the 2008 cases you will see whistleway, click it and look at the pic of the shadow person and see if its similar to your experience, the only other thing i think of when people see shadows is are there windows close by in which light could be coming through and casting a shadow, i have seen an instance in which a person hung a coat on their dresser drawer and when a car came by at night the lights came into the window and reflected the coat onto the wall and as the car kept moving the shadow appeared to be moving also, the only thing is you actually saw the shadows move curtains so that is intresting, maybe you should put out a digital recorder and see if you catch voices, even if you can't hear them the recorder will pick them up, it amazes me all the time because on investigations sometimes i hear nothing when i ask a question but when i check my recorder there is an answer, if you ask questions give at least 15 seconds before you ask another, the only thing i should say about doing this is that if it is a spirit and you try to communicate with it and ask it questions, when you do this you are giving it recognition and it can get stronger and it could escalate the activity so be very careful, and if it does get worse i would advise you to seek a proffesional investigator to come and look, all the good ones don't charge a dime to come, if someone tries to charge you, tell them your not intrested, if you have any questions check out our site and contact us

if you can handle it I would cast a protection spell.

a protection spell will protect you from the beings but it will not rid them from your house.

No point in moving because they could be attached to you.

you can try them one by one until you find one that works for you. and you don't have to be a witch to cast one.

If you are not a witch then you obviously don't have a wand, so just use the ones that don't call for that.

I mostly agree with what eric the paranormal investigator said since I do that as well.  However, there are two exceptions-Don't do your EVP's alone. (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) Have some one with you.  Maybe a small group of your friends would agree to help you.  NOT because there may be any danger to you, but because with more than one of you there, you have some one to validate what happens if you do get voices on the recorder.  And two, it you do get some one answering your questions, you find out what or who it is and you are still afraid, just ask it to leave you alone.  Be respectful.  Use manners.  Say please and thank you.  Often they just want you to know they are there.  Once that is done, you should not have any other problems.  It might help to find out what ever else you can about the woman who died in the apartment.  If she has a message she is trying to get out, the more you know about her, the better you will understand it.  And, if after all this, you are still bothered by it, then call the ghost hunters to your home.  Remember, the good ones do not charge.  Oh, and ask if you can participate.  You may find yourself having a great time on a great adventure in your own home.

Hi,

I highly suggest the you add a glass of sea salt to the water when you wash the house. you should also pur a glass of water in the left corner of the house.

what you see is a normal thing that most people can't see. energies of people that died and did not complete something they supposed to do in their lifes stays after they are gone. don't be scared from those shadows even if it looks like 2 shadows in diffrent hights it might me the same one. before you are going to sleep, when you are calm down try to feel as your head is inside a swiming pool and just listen. say in your head or in words that you wish the best for that lady and if there is anything you can do to help her you ask her to tell you.

My first guess is optical illusions, it's very common and if you look into it you'll see how easily your mind is tricked by various stimuli.  It's also very fascinating to learn about.

There are no ghosts, sorry.

well you said before that you've seen ghosts before(in human form) and i would say that this spirit or ghost is etha trying to talk to you to get help or scare you, maybe the next time you see the shadow try and talk to it && ask her her name, what she wants and see if she or he responds. I think that the shorter shadow was a child....in my opinion

Here are the possibilities :

1. It could be your sight , do you use your computer too much or have a job where you have to be very good with details , then once you switch your sight from one place to another then , it is possible that your own eyes could play tricks on you by making you see these "shadows " it have happened to me too!

2. It could be the past house owner 's energy left behind , simply make a home cleansing by 1

Put a small mixture of the sage, cedar and sweet grass in the bowl.

Step2

Light the herbs with a match. The flame should self-extinguish leaving you with only smoke, but if it doesn't gently blow on it to get rid of the flame.

Step3

In the first room take the feather and softly fan the smoke from the bowl into all four corners starting with the West. As you fan the smoke say out loud, "I fill this home with love and light." If you don't feel comfortable saying this, then say a prayer as you work.

Step4

Once you have completed all four corners walk around the rest of the room and fan the smoke in every direction repeating your statement or prayer. Move from room to room in this fashion until you have smudged every room in the house.

Step5

When you have finished, extinguish the smoke with a little water and dispose of the used herbs

If smudging fails, spraying consecrated water (the so-called "Holy Water" used by some churches) should be the next attempt. Draw Crosses over the windows,, wet down the window sills, the doors, the door frames, and any other opening into the building.

If all the above don't work, then the group must go back to the most ancient form of spirit work we have any knowledge of, exorcism by salt.

they are called "shadow people" or "sahow beings". i have seen them too. they are not living and not dead. try shining a torch at them that keeps them quirt for weeks.

Those might be Shadow Beings or whatever you want to call them. I don't know much about them but they should be harmless. Maybe you should try researching on them, sorry I didn't really answer your question. God bless.

one word POLTERGEIST. there are different kinds of poltergeist. there are ones who play tricks and hide things and there types that are out to get you and scare you out of your mind. and since you saw a white one two your shower is a portal to the soul dimension. i have seen those before. if you see a black ghost it is a poltergeist if it is white it has no intention of playing tricks or hurting you. though you might want to look up how to close a portal if you do not want demons in your house. EXORCISTS DO NOT WORK FOR THIS SITUATION

If people feel anxious or scared they usually feel like someone is watching. And everybody sees shadows out of the corners of their eyes or in dark hallways. That's just normal vision stuff. Sorry this isn't an exciting explanation but paranormal stuff usually ends up having boring explanations.
