Black Magic / White Magic ?

Do you guys believe in these 2 magics?

& how do learn it, where do people get there spell books from ?

There are LOTS of people who believe in this. Black magic is considered more destructive, while white magic is considered more healing. In my "sources" are some links of places to purchase books and supplies, if you want them.

By its nature, black magic is harder to find because of its harmful and offensive nature.

You need to be Initiated.  The younger the better.  Also, it helps if you have a gift for magic.  It's a long and difficult process.  There's a lot to learn and a lot to do.

Magic has no color.  The intent of the person performing the spell is what makes it positive or negative.

I don't use spell books.  I write my own.

Black magic was originally called that because it originated in Egypt the "black lands" so called because the earth was black.  Most magical practices have some Egyptian influence.  Magic is just force of intent to what purpose you put it makes it "good" or "bad".  We can argue ethics for as long as you like just remember what goes around comes around, you pay now or you pay later, but no one rides for free

You can get books on line or from New Age or Metaphysical book stores.  I work in a metaphysical book store and people who work at such places can direct you to appropriate books.  The best I have found in my 25 years of study and teaching is Christopher Penczak's series the first of which is The Inner Temple of Witchcraft.  Check it out by going through his books you will get a solid foundation and a through education.

White Magic can be learned right in the Old Testament and the Sumerian chronicles. Black Magic is more of a Egyptian path. You have to practice spiritual alchemy. Magic is not something you learn quick it takes time. Quick magic is black magic.

There are no 2 magics. Magic is magic without all the color differentiation. Please consider magic as electricity. It can light up your room or it can burn down your house. It's nature doesn't change with either event. Magic is the same. It can be used for good or ill but the essence of magic does not change.

Learning magic is learning to harness energy and redirect it to do your bidding. It is not easy and not always successful although you will most likely see an effect, one way or another.

Many practitioners of magic write their own spells but again, it's much more than waving a wand and repeating a bunch of words.

To learn you need to understand and that can only come from study and practice. If you know of someone reputable who would be willing to teach (most will require you to be at least 18), so much the better.

I was a black (wiccan) witch and I am now being told ther eis no such thing as that. I a, ex-wiccan, I made uo my own spells either as a poem or just my own spells. Any words or phrases used int he context of withcraft will work as a spell, thats what I was taught.

Magick is a tool. This question is kinda like asking "is this hammer good or evil?" It's neither--it's just how you use it.

When I first started I used other people's spells (you can find them in books like The Wicca Handbook by Eileen Holland and other Wicca/Paganism books). But as I learned more I began to write my own, which really isn't that hard.

These idiots who say there's a difference between black/white magick don't know what they're talking about....
