Black Men vs. White Women Who is breaking the higher glass ceiling?

Now 2 women in the past 12 months have shattered glass ceilings.

This is a great thing and I know that women in our country have a hard time getting promoted and better pay in their professions. But some of this is attributed to the fact that many women get pregnant and may choose to leave work spend more time with kids.

Its not fair, but it has a lot to do with it. Many White Women go to College today, I think they are the highest percentage of any race/s*x in America in school.

I don't think you can say the same about Black men. Black men in this country have been through a lot and deal with much more discrimination. Those in Urban cities have awful school systems and most have no father to teach them right from wrong. I live 30 minutes from Detroit so I seen some really disturbing things here. Black men and Black women are having a harder time living the American Dream then white women do! Black men were beaten for looking at a white women only 50 years ago!

Isn't Barack Obama breaking high ceilings then Sarah Palin? Will Democratic women see threw this Republican stunt?

When you said ceiling breaking, I was having nasty thoughts :)

Who cares who breaks what first, were all American so we should aim to help one another. Theres no race to come last in, everyone American finishes first.

Personally, I do not see what white women have to complain about, they have always been on the upper rung of society in comparison with black people in general. During slavery, it was the white female standing next to the white slave master. They have always had the advantage in American society. Presently women of just about all races in the U.S. including black women have been elevated over the black man.
