Black Ops, Westmead Joe’s two-year-old black son out of b***h Borna Fence, has been active eleven times during the season with winning three times out of these starts.
He shot into the season by winning the Grade A3 Williamhill.Com Stakes on 5th January at Newcastle over 480 metres. The 2/1 joint favourite was on the other end of the wire in 29.18 seconds while leding by eight lengths. Ending the race closest to the winner was the other joint favourite, Blue And Cool, who managed the distance in 29.82 seconds.
Concluding the race third was Pouldine Star.
Black Ops missed the next start of the season by finishing a miserable sixth in the Bet On Your Mobile @ Williamhill.Com Stakes on 10th January at Newcastle over 480 metres.
Lanesdown Drop was the 7/4 favourite winner of the race and sorted the race in 29.00 seconds. Joining the winner on the opposite side of the wire was Cashen Loca.
He struck the second victory in a 480 metres at Newcastle on 26th January and clocked the track distance in 29.53 seconds while making Offshore Port to finish the race as a runner up after being left behind by 1 ¼ lengths.
His fate remained trapped in a vicious cycle for the next seven races, none of those got translated into victories. Only the last pair was tossed onto the record as second place finishing.

Today’s race will add the fourth victory on the record.
