  1. I think that most black women are not married because most black men don't want to get married. They would rather have commitment-free s*x, and black women give it to them. Black women really don't have much a of a choice since you greatly outnumber black men by 30 to 40% in many parts of the U.S. The HIV/AIDS problem is particularly frustrating to black women because you have black men carrying the disease and sleeping with multiple black female partners and spreading the disease. Since many of these black men don't plan on ever settling down and getting married, and since you outnumber them, there is really no stopping them from spreading the disease among the black community.

  2. This is news to me. When and where did you hear that?

  3. I've never heard that black women have the highest rate, but I don't read everything there is to read on HIV/AIDS either.  I seriously doubt that it plays any part in black women dating or marrying.  I do know that regretfully, black women are stereotyped as being easy and extremely promiscius, which might have something to do with it.  However, having said that, there is a tremendous trend (and has always been) of black men just getting what they want and then moving on, whether there is a pregnancy involved or not.  This also play a part on the outlook towards black women.

  4. It should.  All of us need to be selective and make it a habit to get tested, make sure our partners are tested, and practice safer s*x.  It's the adult thing to do.

  5. Maybe...

Most common people don't look at stats but some do. You never know, the one who you run up on may look at stats.

If it was that's dumb, because we are human to and we make some mistakes but it shouldn't interfer with the rest of our lives.

Yes, it can get hurtful because of how they sterotype us, but its something thats out there..its not your fault..

Just be happy with who you r

  6. I have heard this statistic but it was not that they are the largest group rather they are the fastest growing group. It is theorized that monogamous Black women are seeing a dangerously sharp instance of HIV infections because Bi-Sexual Black men are passing it on to them without their knowledge. Because Homosexuality is especially taboo among black males it makes sense that they would put special effort into hiding their sexuality.
