Black and Decker 18'' mulching mower mm675 will not start. possible short ?

starting about a month ago, the mower will not start properlly. after a bit of shaking, and rapidly moving the mower will start it. once it started, it worked fine continually. i opened it up. the motor seems fine. everything is well connected. the switch handle seems well econnected as well. extension cord shows red light which means its working too....what could be the problem ?

THERE,S A LOOSE/BROKEN WIRE, EITHER IN THE CORD OR IN THE CONNECTION POINT

Check your brushes. Did you notice arching inside the vents when you shook it? You wouldn't notice unless you were looking for it. But if you happen to see this you need new brushes.
