Black and Proud? Races opinion wanted.?

Honestly tell me, is it a conflicting image to see a woman upfront about being black and proud and then to see her head full of weave?????? (please indicate your race and gender)

so when does wearing a weave have anything to do with being black and proud? the last i checked all women of all races wear them. maybe we (and yes i wear i weave myself) like the versatility of them. im very proud of who i am and just because i wear one doesnt mean otherwise.

I really don't understand your question...Whatever color you are, black, brown, white, yellow, blue......you should be proud of who you are and what you look like.

I am a mix of nationalities.  How could one not be upfront about their race?  It is pretty obvious in most cases.  I don't really see the connection you are trying to make.  No one should be ashamed of their race, many should be ashamed of their behavior toward race though.

I don't know.  I'm purple and quite honestly I've never been proud of it.  I gave a beggar a nickel once, and I am kind of proud about that.  The more I think of it I don't have anything to be proud about.  Pride is the cardinal sin.  Maybe I should just try to be humble given the fact that everything of great value was given to me.  One other thing:  I've never seen a black person.  What do they look like?  Is it true that their blood is red just like a purple person's.

Nothing wrong with a proud black woman whatever she has in her hair I bet she looks stunning.
