Black ants of DOOM!!!!!!?

Question

I have small black ants in my garden how do i get rid of them? i heard that sprinkling baking soda on top of my plant leaves will kill them (which i did) will that work or is there better ways to organically kill them? (there on my water melon and honey dew sprouts if that helps at all)

Leave the Ants of DOOM alone. They are just being ants. That's what ants do. Let them live. Each one of those ants is a life. It is alive. Don't take away all those lives. Respect life.

Are watermelons and honey dew sprouts worth your respect for life?
