  1. In keeping with the style of a "traditional" black book, you will DEFINITELY need some Sharpie brand markers for outlines. Go ahead and buy a number of pen tip widths.

As far as coloring, it's mostly about preference! I like colored pencils--Prismacolor brand.

There are a wide variety of markers, as well. There are colored Sharpies, Prismacolor markers, and other brands, as well. Many come in different tip widths.

    Crayons are even useful! Experiment!

If you plan on making your own stencils (see stencilrevolution.com for introduction on stencil-making) you *may* want to spray them into your book. This isn't done very often, but I don't see why you can't. Black books are your OWN creation.

Lastly, a bit of advice--you may want a sturdy piece of cardstock to put BEHIND the page you are using Sharpies/other markers on. There is a tendency for the ink to bleed through the paper, and leave spots on the next page!

  2. sharpie,copic,tria,touch twin,prisma colour,letratect

    they are all marker brands

make sure you have good quality paper so they dont bleed through the paper.
