Black but can't dance?

Question

I'm black and I can't dance to well. . . I am going to college this fall and I'm scared that I may look like an eediot at college if someone wants to dance with me at a party. Anybody have any tips or any websites that might be able to teach me some moves. Thanks all answers are appreciated.

ok, well, get a mirror, put on some loud music, and start dancing. Change moves, make variations of what you know, copy other peoples moves you've seen before and make it to your own version of it, freestyle in the mirror so you can change the things that don't look right.

When people see you dance, they don't really care as long as you move your body smooth and it looks natural and ON BEAT, thats the most important

whoa...!! learning from websites or any videos or reading about the moves and all wont see you through the dance. everyone has friends. friends that can dance. so ask them to teach you some moves, just enough for a party or something. practice them and try matching them to the beats of other songs and try inventing some steps of your own. if you are really serious about dancing then i prefer you consult some professional help..!!

Umm blacks can dance is a stereotype blacks can't dance better than anyone else the only different between blacks then everyone else is that they have more pigment black people are usually more confiedent... but dancing is a matter of your body's natural rythme some people have more rythme than others your just born with good dancing or your nots your probably okay at dancing just look up dancing videos on youtube... maybe take classes? just be confiedent and people will think you dance good
