Black convict fry growth, 10 points, fast!?

Question

I have a bunch of convict fry and lot of them are absorbed by the filter.

I want to know how long will it take for fry to grow to 1 inch long? Or how long will it take to mature?

Put a sponge around the filters intake.

about a month they grow slower than I thought.  I took a filter sponge and cut out a small hole half way through and put it over the intake. this will keep them from getting sucked up.

DO NOT USE A KITCHEN SPONGE EVEN A NEW ONE CONTAINS CHEMICALS HARMFUL TO FISH.

it will take them about a month if fed with baby brine shrimp. maybe two months if fed with anything else. i fed mine with crushed pellets and it took about 2 months.
