Black dahlia murder: is solved?

okay so i have seen this book: the black dahlia avenger with proof stating that the black dahlia murder HAS been solved

i have not purchased or read of the book however so can anyone tell me WHEN the murder was solved?

The murder has not been solved but there have been some alleged solutions to her murder but none has ever been found to be true. Shorts name was actually the blue dahlia.

News to me.  for some time now there has been speculation and some evidence toward 1 whack job from that era, but solved?  Doubt it.

I don't think it has ever been solved. It is all speculation, I mean the recent movie was just someone's idea of who did it.
