Black dye for ponds?

Question

I was reading yesterday about backyard ponds/watergardens and it mentioned you could dye your pond with black dye..but suggests that you don't go green or blue because it isn't nice looking. I would like to know more about this dye...what is it called, where to find it..I did a search all it came up with is hair dye, and the dye you use for tiedying...wasn't much help..can anyone help me...thanks...

you have to buy it from a pond supply.....

and blue is the best color.... the fish still look normal in it.... and it works to foul up the algae....but here's your black dye...
