Question:

Black eyed susans????

I just planted some Black eyed susans and they seem to be dying. When I purchased them almost 2 weeks ago they were thriving. Now the last 3 days or so they have been wilting and falling over. What can I do to keep these alive? I have never dealt with these before. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks

  1. Water as the others stated, as well as perhaps staking them. It will keep them upright. Are they in a pot? If so, you may want to transplant into a larger planter or directly in the ground.

  2. It sounds as if you're not watering enough.  If they're in pots, you may have to water them twice each day when it's hot and dry.  If they're in the ground, give them a good soaking every day that it doesn't rain.

  3. water them
