  1. Blacck ... x

  2. I would do brown, because your eyes are black, so it could just make people look at ur makeup not ur eyes. ^_^

  3. i think it really depends on your eye colour! go to your local mall and find a makeup counter in say macy's

  4. blacck sounds ok on u, its pale people who should normally avoid it. brown is a natural alternative 4 all.

  5. BLACKKK.....!!

  6. I'm not really sure which one would suit you better just because I don't know what you look like so obviously it's really difficult to recommend one.

But from what you've described about your appearance, "medium skin tone" it seems you'd probably be able to handle a black eye-liner.

I know in my case anyway i am quite fair and have freckles so a brown eye-liner compliments me a lot more than black, because black is just too harsh for my skin tone. Brown is much warmer and friendlier and a lot easier on the eye than black.

There's a very small difference between brown and black but that small difference could MAKE the difference to your overall look.

    Hope I helped.

  7. i like black but i sometimes use brown when at skool

  8. Black if you have black hair and dark features.  If you have lighter skin and light hair it should be brown.

  9. not every black has to be a true jet black. i realized this when i tried lining my eyes with a stila gel eyeliner.. the result was way too harsh and jarring because the black was so dense. then i started using my black eyeshadow as a liquid liner by adding a drop of visine to it and using a thin brush. the result is much softer and easier on the face. it's also incredibly long-lasting, even moreso than a regular liquid liner, in my opinion.

if you still plan on using a pencil or crayon eyeliner, always smudge or brush on a light dusting of a same color powder eyeshadow. it sets the liner just the way translucent powder sets your makeup.

  10. i think generally...black is more for evening (its more dramatic) and brown is more for daytime (its a softer look). if you feel like the black is too dark on you it could be because youre not using to wearing it (so ease into it..start wearing a little pencil for a while then some liquid later ..and always use thin lines). the way you've described yourself i think either should do the trick.

as for your pencil liner...the best one ive found so far is the kohl power eye pencil http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/pr... it comes in black but they have some other colors on limited edition right now. i'm going to the mall later to pick up a couple! lol i definitely want the blue and brown..ive already got the black. and dont forget to set your eyeliner with an eyeshadow of the same color to make it last long.

  11. It depends on your natural hair color. I'm a natural brunette, and so black looks too severe on me, so I wear dark brown. Nobody can really tell the difference. So if your hairs very very dark, then you can probably pull off wearing black, but if you have lighter hair, I'd say go with dark brown.

I use Estee Lauder Kohl pencil in black coffee

    Hope this helped!

  12. In my opinion, brown tends to look a little dirty.

If you're going to use black and you think it looks too ridiculously dark, put the eyeliner on the night before. By the morning, it would have blended and given you the appearance of darker lashes and bigger eyes.

  13. I've been told to use brown as black is too harsh looking. Friends also told me that brown looks more natural and makes the lashes longer.
