  1. A jumping spider is less than the size of a dime.  A black fuzzy spider as big or bigger than a silver dollar(old not susan b) is a hairy mygalomorph or tarantula.  How about a little air in that jar.  Any live bug you care to add will keep me happy.  But the sponge may make it too humid.  If you want to raise it a fish aquarium is ideal.

  3. Dont worry, this may be common Garden Spider  or Jumping Spider. It is somewhat fuzzy.  The markings are diverse among its many species. Some are black with spots of orange or red on the back. At first site some fear it to be a Black Widow Spider. The Black Widow, however, has a red hourglass shape underneath on the belly and has longer legs.

Garden Spider  or Jumping Spider are easy to recognize for having a distinct zig zag pattern in the center of their web.

just set it free in your garden & get relaxed !
