Black ghost knife questions

Question

how long can i keep a black ghost knife (4 in) with 3 in gourami, clown loach, and rainbow shark in a 12 gallon before something bad happens? and if i end up having to take the knife out, could i put it in my pond outside with my koi? (a couple of the koi are about 5 in). i dont think i should but i want to knw if its possible.

If you're lucky, a few weeks.  The Shark will quickly discover that the BGK is taking up its space, and will have no trouble attacking its undulating fin.  You've got fish that need a tank at LEAST 6 times as big as the have...  It will NOT work in the Koi pond... at all.  The Koi will likely investigate it, which will stress the Knife out FAR more than it can handle.  If it somehow survives the "greeting", it will quickly die from cold water.
