Cotton - try soaking in a nappy/diaper type soaker which has a bleaching effect - repeat if necessary

You can also boil this singlet in hot water and some mild soap shaved/grated into the water in an large saucepan or boiler - in both cases rinse thoroughly and hang in the sun - it may also help to leave it hanging out overnight in the dew as it also acts as a bleach. Great grannie used to do this to help remove stains
