Black hair help....?

Ok so i have back hair and im a brown guy. i wanna know what color highlighs or whether or not i should get highlights.

i was thinking a few streaks of brown.... i cant find pics anywhere of a brown guy with black hair and brown streaks.

Sure you could have brown highlights but l would not go to light, this could look to harsh on you. Having black hair would also make it hard for you to get to light without multiple applications of lifter.

I strongly advise against highlights if you're "brown"

The thing is, ALWAYS make sure that if you dye your hair or get streaks, make sure it's not the same tone as you skin or lighter than your skin because it's repulsive.

If you have black hair, use something to make it get a natural shine but not make it look like you O.D.'d on gel or hairspray.

If you say you're a brown guy, and implying that you're like an ethnic guy, then you probably shouldn't get the streaks at all if you have very dry hair. But, if you want to go for it, just wait till you get to the salon, and they have samples there. They can even mix colors, so just be assertive and tell them exactly what you want!

highlights usually dont look good on people with natural black hair.especially guys.

i dont like guys with highlights,i just think its a little weird.
