Black light for Bungies

Question

I was wondering, Is a black light ok to have on for Parakeets. I mean does it hurt their eyes or something? I want to know before i try it out. The reason is because I'm pretty sure that the parakeets I'm going to get are somewhere on their body going to have white. and since white shows up great on black light. I was thinking of turning on the black light, then turning off the lights, then being able to watch them fly around better.

Don't do it. UV light can blind-permanently!
