Black mailing father

My boyfriend and I need a new car. We can't afford it right not, especially sense I'm unemployed. Luckily, my mom knows the people I applied to, and they told her I am going to get a second interview this week.

I told my boyfriend that it's time we get a grown up car, one that is new and smart looking. He doesn't want to cause his dad wants to just buy him a car at the auction, and then my boyfriend will just pay him back.

I don't like that idea. Last time he did that, he 'controlled' my boyfriend. Their family is very 'there way or the high way'. And they are trying everything in their power to end our relationship. Every time he goes down there, they brain wash him and find reasons for him to end it with me. We almost broke up last week and I was crying hysterically. Luckily I made him see what they were doing to us.

Well, I'm worried they would do the whole, "You come down for the weekend, and I'll drop a $1000." Sounds like a good thing, but they'll do it constantly, and when he says "no", they'll listerally threaten him with "Fine, I'll be up there to collect MY car."

I know they'll do anything to put pressure on our relationship, and they know how too.

I wish he wouldn't go with his father, cause within the month we can have a new car, and buy it together, no strings attached.

Is there anyway I can make him see. Cause I really don't want them to have him at their beck and call all the time, trying to ruin us.

  1. hes needs to grow up and make a stand and if his preants are like that he has to see it and maybe you can tell him point blank and mabye this time he will see its hardt o have soemone else going to another parents and trying stuff but its up to you and him to talk and communicate and hes not so far.

  2. His family is going to keep interfering in your relationship until he stands up to them and tells them that is inappropriate.

A relationship where the family interferes this much doesn't have a very promising future. How long are you willing to put up with his family? You need to really consider that.
