Okay so I have just discovered some black mold in the corner of my living room...in a space about a foot and a half tall there are spots of black and it looks like green as well..probably just black that isn't to the surface of the drywall yet. I've heard that with bleach and intese cleaning you can get rid of it. But I'm really worried me my boyfriend and my four month old daughter live in this apartment so I want to make sure that it won't effect us once we've cleaned it...or does cleaning it just get rid what you can see but it's still there? I know there are some foundation problems in this apartment, but now I'm really paranoid that there is black mold in a lot of other spots that maybe I just can't see yet. How serious is this and what should I do?

  2. You need to be very careful at this point. DO NOT TOUCH THE MOLD. Bleach will not kill the toxins.  You will need some type of mold killer. if the mold is found in other parts of your basement you might need to move. if the problem persists you guys can become deathly ill.
